In the beginning

This idea evolved from a journey I’ve been on discovering the women you see in person, pictures you’ve seen on Instagram and the women behind some of my looong Facebook post. This is long overdue and yet the fear of what it may become almost stopped me from making the very first post. I’ve written so many times before but taking the words I do adore and finding the right font and where to share my ideas first gave me this overwhelming fear of the unknown. I should have, would have, could have done this a year ago… but didn’t. I have a new found motivation for using this platform as an outlet and as my own virtual accountability partner. You see about a week ago, media went crazy, stores started shutting down and people began to panic. I don’t come here to remind you of what we all can Obviously see but to remind you that one thing is certain and that my friend is death. My new found motivation is knowing that we will all come face to face with the end. That my friend is for certain. What I want to be certain of is not who I’ll meet because I rest in my relationship with God through Jesus . I want to be certain that everything He created me to do, to be, to impact, well that it was completed. One way I am certain that will not happen is with procrastination. There’s a quote that says, procrastination is the arrogant belief that You will be gifted the time tomorrow to do what You can absolutely do today paraphrased. So welcome to the first of many blogs. In the beginning God created everything from nothing so my friend what is it that you are supposed to create and impact the world with that has your own special twist? I challenge you to move the fear out of the way and make just one step forward.
